Professional, personal and friendly celebrant training

Our students come from around the world, such as the United States of America, Canada, Portugal, Ireland, Spain, Scotland, Wales, England and Mauritius. Before training to be celebrants, they’ve enjoyed careers as diverse as: pilots, museum curator, yoga teachers, school teachers, fitness instructors, postie, journalists, nurses, receptionists, secretaries, Head Teachers, singers, dancers, artists, midwife, therapists, shamanic healers, reflexologists, actors, hotel managers, counsellors, parents, professional poet, writers and so on.

What they all have in common is a desire to create beautiful, bespoke ceremonies in their community and further afield.

A little bit about us and Heart-Led Celebrants

Veronika has been a celebrant since 1995, officiating internationally and across all rights of passage. She’s also editor of The Celebrant magazine. “I love my work as a celebrant trainer, and it delights me no end when I see our students create fulfilling and satisfying lives as Heart-led Celebrants!”

Paul has been involved with voice and communication for a lifetime, and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills with our students. He says “At Heart-led Celebrants, we realise the importance of a celebrant’s voice, and how much it impacts on each person listening. And just as important, possibly even more so, is how a celebrant uses their voice. Being able to speak naturally, engagingly and authentically is essential for this work, and we don’t want you to fall at the last hurdle after you’ve created a heart-led ceremony.”

Comprehensive Celebrant Training

Our celebrant training is comprehensive and ongoing. You’ll never be left alone, whether that’s when you take your first tentative steps into professional celebrancy or even years down the track. You have access to the support from your tutors seven days a week, as well as support from other Heart-led Celebrants.

You can be assured of learning all you need to know to be a competent, creative and confident celebrant.

If you are willing to be (or willing to learn to be) creative, disciplined, caring and insightful, and able to work with people from all walks of life, then you might just have what it takes to be a Heart-led Celebrant.

Independent Celebrant Training

Our celebrants are independent celebrants who officiate ceremonies based on the clients’ beliefs rather than their own.

We offer two courses.

1. Certificate in Celebrancy (Funerals: cremation, burial, eco-burial, celebration of life; Memorials; Weddings, civil partnerships, commitment blessings, handfasting ceremonies, vow renewals; Namings)

2. Diploma in Advanced Celebrancy and Ritual (all rites of passage).

Our certified students set the standard for excellence in celebrancy.

Veronika Robinson

Veronika Robinson is a highly experienced working celebrant with 28 years of experience. She has had the privilege of officiating in New Zealand, Australia, Scotland, Ireland and England where she has written and led all manner of ceremonies, including weddings, handfastings, blessingways, namings, divorce healing, miscarriage memorial, conscious conception, funerals, memorials, interment of ashes, sagesse, menarche, and house blessings.

Veronika has a Masters Degree in Creative Writing, and is an author (fiction and non-fiction), journalist, public speaker, workshop leader, and metaphysician.

She is honoured to be a celebrant for Gift of a Wedding, a charity which provides weddings for couples where one of them is terminally ill. Veronika is the founder/facilitator of Penrith’s first Death Café.

Veronika edited The Celebrant magazine (2019 – 2022), an international publication which seeks to educate and inspire celebrants of all types and at all stages in their career. thecelebrantmagazine.co.uk

Paul Robinson

Paul Robinson’s whole career has been centred around his voice, and other people’s. He is highly experienced as a celebrant, trained actor, drama coach, voiceover artist, singer, broadcaster, compère, and ventriloquist. Paul is an excellent communicator and teacher, and has a sixth sense about how to relate to individuals, groups and audiences.

On our course, Paul shares insights and techniques on how to make the best of your personality, how to build your self-confidence, control any nerves you may have… and of course, your voice, your presentation skills and body language.

He will also look at how to engage with clients before a ceremony – and how to be the glue that holds any ceremony together.
